Kate Middleton and Prince William join forces with Mary Berry for festive TV show
In what is one of the best early Christmas presents we could have asked for, Kate Middleton and Prince William are teaming up with Mary Berry for a festive collaboration.
Royal fans will see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, in a new TV show to be aired later this month, join the former Great British Bake Off judge to whip up a delicious feast.
The couple this weekend gave their 10.4m Instagram followers a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at what to expect in the upcoming programme.
They have caused delight online with a picture of 37-year-old Kate - wearing a beautiful £1,455 dress by Alessandra Rich with an added pussy-bow - beside William, 37, Mary, 84, and chef Nadiya Hussain, 34, while holding freshly-made roulades.

In the new post revealing the news, the royal parents wrote: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have joined forces with cookery legend Mary Berry to prepare festive food to thank all those working and volunteering over the Christmas period.”
It continued: “The Duke, Duchess and Mary, along with some very special guests including @nadiyajhussain host a Christmas Party to thank and acknowledge staff and volunteers from charities and organisations who will be working tirelessly over the Christmas period.”
They then instructed their followers to swipe right “for a taster of what to expect” from upcoming TV programme ‘A Berry Royal Christmas’.
The caption then proceeded to explain the images in the carousel of the post.

A first picture of the Duchess and former Bake Off judge is from a “behind the scenes” meeting, in September at RHS Garden Wisley, for the TV star to “learn more about The Duchess’s commitment to the early years in raising the next generation of happy, healthy children”.
The next, of Mary with the Duke, was taken during a visit to charity The Passage which is the “UK’s largest resource centre for homeless and insecurely housed people” and has “helped over 130,000 people in crisis through its resource centre, homelessness prevention projects and two innovative accommodation services”.
Finally, Kate is pictured at The Brink, the “UK’s first dry bar set up by @actiononaddiction to provide a safe space for people who are suffering from addiction” and where the presenter went along with the royal mum to “meet the inspiring people whose lives have been changed by the help and support of the charity”.
The post concluded by encouraging people to watch the programme on Monday 16th December on BBC One at 8.30pm.
