Jennifer Lawrence Refines Maternity Style In Choc Brown Bottega Veneta
We’ve all been actively tuned into Jennifer Lawrence’s pregnancy wardrobe, but last night the Oscar-winning actor showed up in perhaps her best look yet. For the 2024 Governors Awards in Los Angeles, Lawrence chose a baby bump-hugging chocolate brown Bottega Veneta gown.

Pulled from the brand’s upcoming pre-fall 2025 collection, the dress was embellished with the brand’s signature teardrop hardware across one shoulder and a matching piece that sleekly caressed her baby bump. Known for her easy approach to elegance, oversized white shirts and simple outfit formulas as her strong suit, her red carpet get-up felt like an exciting expansion of the actor’s maternity style
She accessorised with the brand’s viral earrings, naturally, to make the dress’ hardware stand out. She also carried a matching gold Bottega clutch in the signature intrecciato leather knot material, and topped the look off with dark brown sandals from Manolo Blahnik, a chunky Ana Khouri gold ring, and her diamond engagement ring. As for her glam, Lawrence kept it pared-back and sophisticated with a dark flick of eyeliner and berry lips, with her blonde hair styled into a chic bun with soft, face-framing bangs.
Her look was styled by Jamie Mizrahi, who works with ELLE UK cover star Riley Keough, as well as Adele and The Bear's Jeremy Allen White.
Lawrence announced the news of her second child with husband Cooke Maroney, who she married in 2019, in October. They welcomed their son Cy, who they named after artist Cy Twombly, back in 2022.
