Inside Katie Price's mysterious 'my twins' baby post that stunned fans - after she announced plans for child No6
Katie Price practically broke the internet this week when she posted a photo to her social media stories of two tiny babies, declaring “Finally my twins have arrived”. It came after the former Page 3 star, who is already a mum of five, recently declared “I can categorically say - I will be having a baby” in her new autobiography, Katie Price. This Is Me: The High Life.
In what appeared to be a new baby update, Katie shared the twins photo with her 2.7million Instagram followers on Wednesday, and followed it up with a congratulatory message to another new mum, Northern Irish beauty influencer Emma Kearney. On top of a shared video of 24-year-old Emma introducing her own new baby girl to her family, Katie wrote: “Congratulations we both have babies now”, followed by a red heart emoji. After a flood of comments on the internet questioning whether 46-year-old Katie had become a mum again, a source has told OK! that the two babies might be dolls.
“Katie is living out her fantasy," they said. "She has always been bordering on obsessed about babies and having children, so her posting a photo with two ‘babies’ isn’t a surprise to anyone around her, she’s always said she loves having babies around. She also seems to love the attention she gets when she’s pregnant or a new mum, she just likes everything about it.

“With her sister Sophie about to have her baby any day now, it’s really at the front of Katie’s mind, she sees her making all the last-minute preparations and it just makes those thoughts stronger.
“She admitted recently that she knows she’s getting older, and at 46 it’s not an easy thing to do, but that doesn’t actually stop her dreaming of having more babies, and wanting everyone to see her with babies.”
When Katie’s twin baby snap - which showed one dressed in a pink outfit with a Disney bib and the other in cream trousers and white bib - was circulated online, there was a slew of comments saying they were “reborn dolls”, which are lifelike dolls usually made of silicone. On one Facebook post about the picture, follower replies included “they are newborn dolls”, and “probably reborn dolls”. And another added: “Definitely bought herself reborn dolls”.

According to the Reborn Dolls UK website, the cost of a doll can reach £20,000, but customers can buy a high-quality doll for around £300. On a FAQ about why people buy them, the site says: “The most spoken about reason is probably for those who have lost loved ones or young babies through miscarriage or childbirth.
“The dolls provide a therapeutic effect in these cases. For others, they simply love the look and feel of the dolls and wish to build a collection. It's really a personal choice and it's important we don't judge anyone. It's all about what makes you happy.”
When Katie appeared recently on Olivia Attwood’s podcast, So Wrong It’s Right, she addressed her baby dream. As well as chatting about her career on OnlyFans, her diagnosis of ADHD and her love of plastic surgery, she told the former Love Islander that she wasn’t going to stop trying for a sixth child but acknowledged that now she’s in her mid-40s she knows it won’t be simple.
“People have got to remember, if I act young or look younger, your body is still 46 and your eggs get less and they get older and it’s harder,” she said. And when Olivia asked if - despite her age - she was certain she wanted another, Katie responded, “Or two. It’s going to happen one way or another. I don’t know how, but I’m not giving up.”
Katie is currently dating former MAFS star JJ Slater, and our source says he’s happy for Katie to do whatever she wants, including adding to her brood, which already includes Harvey, 22, Junior, 19, Princess, 17, Jett, 11, and 10-year-old Bunny.
“He’s very easy going and very happy-go-lucky, so he’s happy to go along with it all if it’s what Katie wants,” they said. “With JJ, he’s very much in the background of the relationship which hasn’t always been the case for her in the past, so she’s going to really focus on what she wants - which is a baby.”
