Travis Kelce, beau of megastar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, has confirmed that, despite fevered concern among her legion of fans that their relationship's on the rocks, their romance is as strong as ever.
Addressing his partner's absence at his 'Kelce Car Jam' on October 5 — the day he turned 35 — Kelce confirmed to a reporter that the star wouldn't be attending the event. 'She will not be here right now,' he can be heard saying in a video shared on Page Six's TikTok on October 6. 'I know she's coming in for the game.'

The Kansas City Chiefs will be playing the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on October 7. Swift, who has attended most of her partner's games since the pair began dating more than a year ago, was notably absent from the team's previous two games, their only away games since the 2023-2024 NFL season started in early September.
While the rumour mill inevitably was sent into overdrive with hypotheses as to Swift's absence, a source confirmed to Page Six that the reason the star hadn't attended the games was due to security concerns. 'If she is going to a place that isn’t Arrowhead, there are security concerns,' the source said. 'She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable. Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance.'
According to the insider, Swift's absence isn’t—as the outlet put it—'a sign that she’s on the outs with Kansas City Chief’s tight end.' Rather, she’s been busy with Eras tour rehearsals ahead of her October 18 show in Miami and is more comfortable attending his games at the Arrowhead Stadium.
