Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could honour his late grandfather in the name of their second child, if the latest bookies odds call it correctly.
Philippa, the female version of Philip, is now at odds of 3/1 and is the favourite name choice for Harry and Meghan's daughter, due this summer, according to Ladbrokes.
It has overtaken Diana, which is currently at 5/1 with the same bookmakers.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "It's looking increasingly likely Harry and Meghan will opt for Philippa when naming their second-born as a nod to the former's Grandfather."
If Harry, 36, and Meghan, 39, did chose that name, they would be the third royal couple this year to give a nod to the Duke of Edinburgh when naming their child.
Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank gave their son, born on 9 February, one middle name of Philip in honour of the late prince, who was also Eugenie's grandfather. Their son's full name is August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.
The Duke of Edinburgh's oldest granddaughter Zara Tindall followed suit a few weeks later, calling her son Lucas Philip.

Although Eugenie and Zara both had their sons before Prince Philip died, it's not known if he met them because of coronavirus restrictions in place.
Ladbrokes also has the Queen's name on its list, at 10/1.
Following that, it's the name Allegra, also at 10/1, Alexandria at 12/1, Grace at 16/1 and Rose also at 16/1.
Harry and Meghan were inspired by a Greek word for the name of their son and their foundation. They called their son Archie, which comes from the word arche, meaning "source of action".
They then called their organisation Archewell, adding well as "the place we go to dig deep".
Archie's middle name is Harrison, playing on the tradition of naming a child after their father, as it comes from Harry's son.
Royals tend to choose traditional names for their children, honouring other members of their family as they name new ones.
Princess Charlotte was named after her grandfather Prince Charles, and given the middle names of Elizabeth and Diana after her great-grandmother and her late grandmother.
Her brothers share a name - Prince George's full name is George Alexander Louis, and the youngest Cambridge is called Louis Arthur Charles, with his own nod to his grandfather too.
Prince William's full name is William Arthur Philip Louis, with names matching his grandfather and then passed onto his sons.
Prince Harry's full name is Henry Charles Albert David - sharing one of his middle names with his father.

Harry and Meghan announced she was pregnant with their daughter on Valentine's Day this year, a nod to the timing of the announcement by Diana of her pregnancy with Harry - 37 years earlier on Valentine's Day.
They have not given any more details about the due date, except to say the baby is expected in the summer.
Meghan appeared in a video clip at Vax Live over the weekend, in which she talked about her daughter.
She said: "My husband and I are thrilled to soon be welcoming a daughter.
"It’s a feeling of joy we share with millions of other families around the world. When we think of her, we think of all the young women and girls around the globe who must be given the ability and the support to lead us forward."
Prince Philip died on 9 April at the age of 99 at Windsor Castle. He had spent four weeks in two different hospitals being treated for an infection and a pre-existing condition before his death, which was recorded as due to old age.
Harry returned to the UK for the funeral, but Meghan was not able to travel.
The Duke of Sussex is next expected in the UK in July for the unveiling of the statue to his mother Diana at Kensington Palace.
