Lisa Faulkner has accused Gregg Wallace of making 'rude jokes' that she 'didn't want to hear' continuously on the set of Masterchef. The claims come after Gregg, earlier this week, denied allegations of making inappropriate sexual comments on the quiz show Impossible Celebrities.

Speaking at Cheltenham Literary Festival with her husband and Gregg's co-presenter, John Torode, Lisa admitted "I’m probably not allowed to say this" before sharing that Gregg told "rude joke after rude joke" to the show's crew, according to The Sun. When asked about her time on the show in 2010, she said: “You’re just sitting there and if you’re on the front bench just chopping away thinking, ‘I’ve got ten minutes left’ and he’s saying: ‘So this girl walked into a bar…’ And I’m going: ‘Please I don’t want to hear this joke’.”

However, Lisa's husband John appeared to defend his colleague as he responded: “It’s changed quite a lot really…”

This week it was claimed that Gregg was accused of making 'inappropriate sexual comments' on Impossible Celebrities and that he removed his top in front of an employee in 2018.

Gregg posted a video on Instagram on Sunday that has since been updated on Monday 14 October, in which he addressed the allegations. He said: “The story that’s hitting the newspapers, this was investigated promptly, when it happened, six years ago by the BBC, and the outcome of that was that I hadn’t said anything sexual.”

He continued: “Despite what the newspapers are suggesting, nobody six years ago accused me of flirting with anybody or hitting on anybody and the reason I say this is because of my wife, Anna.

"I have always been true to my wife Anna and have never flirted or hit on anybody in the 12 years that I met her and fell in love with her and it’s important that people don’t misunderstand that, that I am true to my wife.”

A source told The Sun that some were questioning why Gregg has been allowed to continue on MasterChef following the more recent allegations, but added that the BBC took immediate action following the Impossible Celebrities complaint.

They said: “Gregg was called in to have a meeting with them. He made it clear that he didn’t mean anything by what he said but he was read the riot act and told to change his behaviour.”
