Gemma Collins made a special visit to Swansea over the weekend to surprise people at the city's annual Christmas Parade which took place on Sunday, November 17. She served up McDonald's burgers in an impressive red ball gown, and judging from the pictures, it looks like she had a brilliant time.

Gemma stepped out of a black car and walked along a red carpet at the event, with her blonde hair flowing around her shoulders, styled in relaxed waves. Walking past an enthusiastic crowd, who clapped and took out their phones to capture the moment, it's safe to say she caught people's attention in Swansea.

The TV personality was seen in one of the iconic McDonald’s vans serving the items from the brand-new Festive menu which launches on Wednesday, November 20, in all McDonald's stores. For the latest Swansea news, sign up to our newsletter here.

While she was there, she let people know all about the chain's 'Gift Drop' campaign. The former TOWIE star encouraged people to save the code (HRH66) and enter it into the McDonald’s app when the campaign launches on November 20 for two guaranteed food offers, and a chance to win free food, MyMcDonald’s rewards points, or exclusive festive merchandise.

And we all know the popular TV personality never says no to an opportunity to mark an occasion. Last Christmas, she beame one of Santa’s little helpers to assist festive train travellers with their luggage, joining up with Heathrow Express to promote its new Elf Concierge Service.

And, more recently, Gemma dressed in a racy corset and fishnet stockings for a Halloween look. She paired her costume with a pair of bunny ears, as well as wearing sheer gloves and stiletto heels.

Amazing outfits and making a memorable impression seemed to be key themes at the Christmas parade in Swansea this year. Also attending the event were professional entertainers, marching bands, floats, costumed characters and festive inflatables parading through the city's streets which were filled with colour, fun and festivities.

Santa himself even showed up to switch on the Christmas lights. The free event held by Swansea Council was also attended by 1st Cwmbwrla Brownies, dressed as fairies with illuminated woodland animals, Tiny Toes Ballet, wrapped as Christmas presents with bright lights and bows, and Sketty Park Community Theatre, following a well-known panto theme with a dwarf called Sprout accompanying Snow White.
