Gavin & Stacey was last on our screens in 2019 when the Shipman's and Smithy (James Corden) headed to Barry to celebrate Christmas. The episode ended on a cliff-hanger as Nessa, played by Ruth Jones, proposed to Smithy and fans have been waiting to hear his answer ever since.
