If you search Pinterest for blonde hair inspiration, chances are that Sienna Miller at the Chloé show, Paris Fashion Week, would pop up. Her look – pastel pink cord jeans, blue cropped jacket, XXL sunglasses – was as much of a talking point as the show itself.

And then there's the hair. Created by Harriet Muldoon at Larry King, South Kensington, it was a thing of beauty: cool, glossy and with just the right amount of sunshiny tone. Here, she's lifted the lid on how the boho blonde came to life.

"Sienna is embracing the bright, creamy Scandi tones this season,' says Harriet. 'I've created 'skinny lights' – a delicate weave of blonde colour, which when layered with a smudge, gives a soft blend at the root. I've scattered the highlights to create contrast, working with Sienna's natural base. We weaved the shade finely throughout, which actually makes the colour easier to maintain.'

Sienna's root was also kept quite dark deliberately. 'I actually love to see a hairline standing out on a blonde,' says Harriet. 'It keeps dimension. Keeping a brighter, stand-out shade around the edges and frame of the face feels modern and right for the new season."

To keep the colour looking fresher for longer, she recommends using Redken's Blondage Shampoo to maintain vibrancy, and Larry King's Good Life Shampoo for hydration. Dreamy stuff.
