Escape To The Country fans all say the same thing as Ginny Buckley poses with teen son

Escape To The Country fans have noticed the striking resemblance between the show's presenter Ginny Buckley and her 15-year-old son, Zak, describing the teenager as her 'double'.

Ginny, who can be seen the small screen for the property show today (Friday 18 October), shared a carousel of pictures to Instagram with her son back in August to mark his birthday. And as followers took to the comment section to wish Zak a happy birthday, many also noticed how alike he and his mum are. "Well that acorn hasn’t fallen far from its tree!! He’s your double!!" wrote one user.

"Such a Spitting image ... Happy Birthday," said another, while a third echoed: "Happy birthday....hes the spitting image of u!!!!!."

"He looks soo much like you Ginny. Both of you are looking really smart," said another. Marking Zak turning 15, Ginny captioned: "And just like that my beautiful boy is 15 and taller than me! Wishing you the happiest of birthdays and a year filled with all the good things you deserve - climb that ladder to the stars! I love you to the moon and back and I’m so proud of you, mum x".

Ginny often shares snaps with Zak online and the duo appear to travel often. Despite her openness about motherhood, Ginny keeps the cards close to her chest when it comes to her personal life, leaving fans guessing about her marital status or romantic involvements.

On screen, the star has been guiding prospective buyers through the rural property market since 2015 on Escape To The Country. The show helps prospective buyers find their dream home in the country, with Ginny joining stars such as Jules Hudson and Nicki Chapman in fronting the show.

Her showbiz career kicked off on the 90s children's game show The Wetter The Better, a fact that might have slipped your mind. She later joined Granada Men and Motors as a presenter in the early noughties, and by 2010 she was co-presenting BBC's Crimewatch alongside Rav Wilding.

Not just a presenter, Ginny dabbled in acting too. She reportedly played a newsreader in a 2008 episode of The Bill, marking her TV debut. In 2012, she even had a role in an episode of Toast of London as a crime presenter.
