Duchess of Cambridge and dog, Orla, team up to support Prince William at polo match
From Wimbledon to Windsor, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent the afternoon at the Guards Polo Club in Berkshire, where Prince William took part in a charity polo match.
William and Kate, both 40, looked relaxed as they arrived at the Windsor polo club, fresh from spending the afternoon at Wimbledon on Tuesday, watching Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and Britain's Cameron Norrie go through to the men's singles semi-finals in the tennis tournament.
The mother-of-three arrived at the Guards Polo Club to support her husband Prince William, with their black cocker spaniel Orla in tow, whose name has only recently been revealed.
The Cambridges previously owned another cocker spaniel called Lupo, who was bred from a dog owned by Kate’s parents, but he sadly passed away in November 2020.
The couple were dressed in smart-casual summer attire for the day out, and looked relaxed and comfortable as they greeted guests when they arrived at the club.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a flowing white sleeveless dress by one of her go-to brands, Emilia Wickstead. It featured a black curved piped detailing down the front, and paired the dress with beige leather flats.
Kate accessorised with a pair of wooden Sézane circle earrings and alternated between wearing her Finlay tortoiseshell sunglasses over her eyes and pushed back on top of her head.
The royal couple are at the polo club, which is in the heart of Windsor Great Park, for the duke to take part in the annual Royal Charity Polo Cup.

The event is in aid of 10 different charities close to the duke and duchess’ hearts, and hopes to raise over £1 million for the causes.

“The match will be played to raise funds and awareness for ten charities supported by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge: SHOUT, The Foundling Museum, The Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust, London's Air Ambulance, Mountain Rescue England and Wales, The Anna Freud Centre, Family Action, The Forward Trust, East Anglia Children's Hospice (EACH) and The Passage,” Kensington Palace previously announced.
William is joined by James Harper, who has been named captain of the England team for the match against Uruguay for the Coronation Cup at Guards later in July, in the round robin event, with three teams competing for the Royal Cup.
