Chrissy Teigen reveals Meghan Markle wrote to her after she lost baby Jack: ‘She's been so kind'
Chrissy Teigen has revealed that Meghan Markle wrote to her after the loss of her son Jack, and described the Duchess of Sussex as "so kind".
Teigen has defended Meghan on a few occasions over the last few years, and was asked during the Watch What Happens Live aftershow if she had been contacted by the royal since she moved back to California.
Former model Teigen confirmed she had, and said: "She has been so kind to me ever since we connected. She had written me about baby Jack and loss, she is really wonderful and so kind. Just as kind as everyone says she is.
"She's a really wonderful person."
Teigen continued: "That's why you look at everything and you're like, 'My god, what is absolutely wrong with people that they have to make this person out to be so malicious or so crazy?', when it's just as simple as them being as kind as everyone says they are."
Teigen said she spoke to the duchess after the Sussexes' interview with Oprah Winfrey, but said: "When I ended up watching it, it was like 'holy s*** this is big', but I waited a long time to watch it that I had already heard so much about it by the time I got to it.
"It was eye-opening."

But she said she did not get any "extra tea" directly from the duchess, saying: "I think she's been very honest [and] open. I think her truth has been her truth since the very beginning."
Teigen and Meghan first crossed paths when they both appeared on game show Deal Or No Deal in the US.
Of their time together, Teigen said in 2018: "I was on Deal Or No Deal with her and she was lovely.
"Now everyone asks me what she was like and I say, ‘Sorry, no dirt.’ She’s gorgeous."
More recently Teigen has been a vocal supporter of Meghan on Twitter. In early March she wrote: "this meghan markle s*** is hitting too close to home for me. these people won’t stop until she miscarries. f****** stop it."
Meghan, who is originally from Los Angeles, California, moved back to the state with husband Prince Harry and their son Archie in March 2020.
They now live in Santa Barbara and are expecting their second child.
Meghan had to miss the funeral of Harry's grandfather the Duke of Edinburgh because she could not get clearance to fly to the UK.
But she sent a handwritten card to accompany a wreath the couple ordered for the ceremony.
