Catherine Zeta Jones had the enviable advantage of being able to raid her own makeup line when getting red carpet-ready ahead of the 2021 Emmys.
The actor, 51, accompanied her husband Michael Douglas, 76, to the awards ceremony on Sunday 19 September, as he was nominated for two awards for his Netflix show The Kominsky Method.
Zeta-Jones opted for her signature makeup look – sultry, smoky eyes and a bold red lip.
An avowed makeup fan, Zeta-Jones launched her own mascara and eyeliner as part of her lifestyle and beauty brand Casa Zeta-Jones in 2020.
The cruelty-free line, created in partnership with Wunder2, also now includes lipsticks and lipliners.
Zeta-Jones revealed in an Instagram story that she applied her buildable Casa Zeta-Jones My Mascara ahead of the awards ceremony on Sunday night.
The mascara is available on Amazon, with customers praising it for giving them "longer and fuller" looking lashes.
If you want to achieve the same look it's worth keeping in mind that Zeta-Jones has a special technique she employs when applying mascara.
“Always curl your eyelashes before putting on mascara," she previously told The Independent . "Also, give your eyelash wand a little wiggle at the base before pulling it to the ends of your lashes for extra volume and definition."
Zeta-Jones describes her mascara as "black, lengthening, and smudge-proof".
"It's perfectly buildable," she adds in the product's description on Amazon. "One quick coat for everyday, and layer it up for extra glam."
