This “Build-Your-Own” Mini Christmas Tree Advent Calendar Is Going Viral
I know I’m not alone when I say I love an advent calendar. It makes the holiday season feel that much more special, giving yourself a little treat every day in the lead-up to Christmas. I grew up with the chocolate ones, but lately, more and more brands have been releasing their own unique advent calendars. Of course, there’s Bonne Maman’s popular jam calendar. Fly By Jing has a version filled with chili sauces and other spicy condiments. Others aren’t even food-themed, like this Gilmore Girls calendar we found on TikTok.
Speaking of TikTok — during my daily scrolling, I came across another type of advent calendar that I’ve never seen before, but now that I know it’s out there, I need to get my hands on it ASAP. It includes 24 little boxes with LEGO-like bricks, which all come together over time to create a 10-inch Christmas tree. It even lights up when fully assembled! This calendar will give you an activity to keep you occupied during the season and a lasting piece of holiday decor — which is why you should definitely grab it while it’s on sale.

On December 1, you can get started on building this adorable tree, opening up one of the numbered boxes each day. You’ll complete one section at time, with the 1,102 pieces spread out over the month. (For reference, one shopper says that they spent about 10 minutes on it every day.) The finished tree includes little decorations to adorn it, like presents, snowmen, and more that sit around the base, plus ornaments to “hang” on the branches. The showstopper is the working LED lights, which will make it a stunning piece of decor to leave out on Christmas Day. Seeing how cute it looks in the photos, I’d have trouble resisting the impulse to complete it sooner!
