When is Black Friday 2024?
Black Friday falls on 29th November this year, and most deals will stay active until Cyber Monday (2nd December) at the very least.
Judging by our experiences in previous years, we expect some luggage brands to announce their Black Friday deals early – some are even live now.
Does luggage go on sale during Black Friday?
Most types of product are widely discounted for Black Friday – and luggage is no exception. This is an opportune time for luggage brands to attract buyers with low prices, as Brits set their sights on winter sun holidays and festive family visits.
Some luggage brands offer more deals (and better savings) than others during Black Friday. Two key brands to watch are Samsonite and Antler, both of which impressed our team with their seasonal offers for Black Friday 2023.

If you're looking for a lightweight, soft-shell suitcase, the Eastpak TRANSIT'R would be one of our top recommendations, with an 82/100 review score from the Good Housekeeping Institute. This model has great internal organisation, excellent manoeuvrability and an impressive 30-year warranty. Now on sale at Very, it's available for £159.50 (list price: £199.99).
Our very favourite affordable cabin bag, the American Tourister Bon Air Spinner Hand Luggage, currently has 42% off at Amazon, so you can pick up this cool, colourful travel companion for just £57.90. It scored 87/100 in our hands-on testing.
One of the heavier suitcases we tested, this might not be the perfect pick for overpackers, but if you can handle the 3.6kg, this is a roomy option that still scored 81/100 in our tests. Durable and easy to fix any dents, it's currently 47% off.
Another high-flyer from our roundup of the best cheap suitcases, this Aerolite hard-shell cabin bag is a steal at £34.99 via Amazon, thanks to a live 30% reduction on the list price.
This case performed well in our testing, but do bear in mind that it doesn't have a TSA lock, so you can't check it in as hold luggage.
Slick and sought-after, the H5 Smart Cabin Bag from Horizn Studios currently has 50% off, so you can now pick one up for £215. The Good Housekeeping Institute team was super-impressed with this case's durability and on-board charging pack, awarding it 87/100 as one of the best cabin bags you can buy.
