One said: “More Ken & Barbie than Pete & Jowita #Strictly ” as another tweeted: “ Pete Wicks looks like he's a year late for the Barbie movie #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly ”. When speaking to Tess after the dance, speaking about his outfit, the co-host of the Staying Relevant podcast said: “When people say to me Strictly will change you, I imagine this is not what they thought I was going to end up as.”
The ensemble left not just the viewers but also head judge Shirley Ballas speechless. When giving her commentary, in fits of laughter, Shirley said: “It was very entertaining. I don’t think I’m ever going to forget this evening for as long as I live darling.”

The light-hearted performance came after a moving and emotional dance from Pete and Jowita last week. Pete was left 'in tears' during rehearsals last week, the 36 year old revealing that he dedicated the performance to his beloved late nan, who was his 'best mate'.
Pete and Jowita appeared on It Takes Two with host Janette Manrara where they discussed their upcoming couple's choice performance for Saturday night (9 November).
Dancing to The Best by Nicotine Dolls, Pete shared the meaning behind the song and said: "This is going to be a tough one for me, based on the fact that, I mean, I've not heard the song all the way through up until this week, since my name's funeral.
"My nan was my best mate, and we played this at a funeral because it was her favourite song, and if there's one person I wish was here and was able to watch me, it would be her. And she's not been, so this is kind of my way of having her on this mad adventure with me."
