Anya Taylor-Joy makes grand BAFTA entrance in gold velvet shawl with matching mini
Anya Taylor-Joy arrived on the BAFTA red carpet this evening in one of the most daring looks of the night.
The actor, 26, made quite the entrance in a gold, velvet floor-length shawl at the London awards show.
Her ensemble, which was designed by French fashion house Schiaparelli, also featured a matching bandeau minidress with a structured, hourglass silhouette.
At one point, she removed her shawl to pose for the cameras in just the frock on the BAFTA Awards red carpet, which featured bow detailing.

Taylor-Joy finished off her head-turning look with a gold loop necklace and a pair of strappy metallic heels.
The star appears alongside Ralph Fiennes and Nicholas Hoult in the film The Menu, which is nominated for the Original Screenplay award.

She joins the likes of Lily James, the Princess of Wales and Florence Pugh as one of the best-dressed stars at this year's BAFTAs.
The former wore a daring white dress featuring a pearl caged neckline and voluminous bow detailing.
The actor's ensemble, which she paired with an elegant up-do and minimal jewellery, was by Tamara Ralph.
Additionally, the Princess of Wales wowed in a white gown with black gloves and metallic Zara earrings.

Meanwhile, Pugh added some colour to the star-studded evening in a bright orange gown with a fishtail train.
The actor, whose look was by Harris Reed, added some punk-esque style with a spiky up-do and her trademark septum piercing.
