Aldi Customers Are Loading Their Carts With This Heat-And-Eat Holiday Casserole
Stock up before it's gone.
Saving during the holidays can seem almost impossible, so when we find a good deal we have to share them. We’re already thankful for Aldi for dropping its prices this Thanksgiving. Now, we have another reason to be grateful for our favorite grocery store. One of Aldi's fan-favorite frozen casseroles is back for a limited time to help you feed hungry holiday guests without spending too much time or money.
Aldi Season’s Choice Sweet Potato Casserole Is Back
Each year, Aldi releases its popular Sweet Potato Casserole with Praline Topping from its Season’s Choice brand, and it’s hitting shelves this week.
This frozen dish is a no-brainer for the holidays. It serves up to five and comes premade, so all you need to do is heat and serve. You can pop it in the oven to bake for a little over an hour or heat it in the microwave in under 15 minutes. The casserole features a sweet potato base and praline topping made of pecans and oats, so it has the perfect balance of creamy and crunchy, savory and sweet.
In 2022, Instagram user @aldiforpresident posted about the sweet potato casserole, and many fans were eager to comment. One said they “bought 5,” while another agreed that this casserole was perfect to “stock the freezer.” One commenter even went so far as to say that this sweet potato casserole is "literally better than homemade.”
This year, the fan-favorite Sweet Potato Casserole with Praline Topping will hit shelves as an Aldi Find on Oct. 30 for just $4.99. As you know, Aldi Finds are only available while supplies last, so, if you want to save the casserole for your Thanksgiving table, you might want to buy a few now. That way, you can have one for dinner this week, and another on Turkey Day.
Every year, fans anxiously await the return of the sweet potato casserole. One customer writing on Reddit that they "literally cannot wait until they stock these.”
Well now the wait is finally over, so if you see this casserole at your local Aldi store, you better act fast. It’s a popular item, and once it’s gone, you probably won’t see it again until next fall.
