Ryan Reynolds ready to 'push the boat out' to sign Championship striker for Wrexham
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson is reportedly looking to spend big to sign a Championship striker during the January transfer window.
Paul Mullin has been the Red Dragons' talisman up front for the last three seasons, scoring a whopping 108 goals.
However, the 30-year-old has only found the net three times so far this season after undergoing back surgery during the summer.

Just one of those efforts came in the league and Mullin's lack of form saw him dropped from the starting XI as Wrexham lost 1-0 away at promotion rivals Stockport on Saturday.
With other forwards either injured or struggling for goals themselves, The Sun reports that Parkinson is targeting an unnamed striker with Championship experience.
The club owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are currently third in League One.
The Hollywood actors are said to be willing to push the boat out in January, with a large fee and wages on offer to aid the manager's recruitment.
Jack Marriott is Wrexham's leading scorer so far this term with five goals to his name.
However, the former Fleetwood Town man faces a long spell on the sidelines after suffering a broken leg in training last month.
Veteran striker Steven Fletcher is also out through injury with an unknown return date.
Ollie Palmer, often used as the main foil for either Mullin or Marriott, has only converted twice.
Meanwhile, summer signing Mo Faal has been used sparingly up front, despite joining from West Brom for a reported club record fee of £590,000.
Parkinson moved to bolster his attacking options in October by signing former Bolton player Jon Dadi Bodvarsson on a short-term deal.
The Icelandic forward started against Stockport in Mullin's place, but could not find an equaliser after Louie Barry scored the winner in the 24th minute.
Wrexham are therefore aiming to make a statement when the transfer window opens on January 1.
