Former Manchester United midfielder Mikael Silvestre has announced his new job working with Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

Taking to social media, Silvestre announced the launch of Nassr TV in association with DAZN. The new streaming site has promised to provide Al Nassr fans with exclusive interviews and content to keep them up to date with what's going on at the club.

The streaming site launched on Friday and is likely to work in a similar manner to United's MUTV. Silvestre played alongside Ronaldo at Old Trafford before the latter moved to Real Madrid while the French midfielder joined Arsenal.

Silvestre's reunion with Ronaldo in his new job comes just days after he called on the legendary winger to move to the MLS to re-spark his rivalry with Lionel Messi. "It would be amazing to see Cristiano Ronaldo competing against Lionel Messi in the MLS, it would be a dream for football fans," he told Norskebettingsider.

"However, I think he is happy in Saudi and is the face of the league out there. He is also still playing for Portugal.

"Maybe after the World Cup, he'll decide to make a change in what might be the last transfer of his career." The 39-year-old has enjoyed a good start to the season in Saudi, with nine goals to his name in 11 appearances.

As mentioned by Silvestre, Ronaldo continues to be called up to the Portuguese national team and has scored three goals in four Nations League appearances so far this season.
