Man United handed fresh injury scare as Ruben Amorim faces anxious wait for first game
Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has been handed his first fresh injury concern of November's international break after Victor Lindelof was forced off in Sweden's win over Slovakia.
Lindelof is one of the players hoping to reignite his United career under Amorim, after coming close to leaving the club this summer. It's understood that the club actively wanted to sell the defender but no switch came to fruition.
A toe injury he sustained towards the end of pre-season scuppered United's chances of offloading him and he has been used this season. The 30-year-old has played seven times this season and has been turned to amid injuries to Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro - who has yet to make his competitive debut after joining from Lille.

Now, after discussing his future at Old Trafford earlier this week, Lindelof's hope of reviving his United career with Amorim in charge have been handed a blow after lasting less than 25 minutes for Sweden on Saturday night.
Lindelof started in a back three with Lille's Gabriel Gudmundsson and Isak Hien against Slovakia but he was forced off with injury after 24 minutes. After receiving treatment, on the pitch, the United centre-back required assistance from two members of the Swedish medical staff to help him off the field.
The severity of that issue is yet to become clear. However, with Maguire and Yoro still unavailable - and Lisandro Martinez also withdrawing from the Argentina squad - Amorim faces being without a number of defenders for his first game in charge in a few days' time.
United start the Amorim era at Portman Road against Ipswich Town next Sunday afternoon.
