Ladd McConkey injury update: Chargers' WR exits following tackle from Geno Stone

The Los Angeles Chargers found themselves flexed into primetime and are hoping to flex their muscles as one of the league's best defenses on Sunday night.

Jim Harbaugh's team has turned it around quickly from where they were a season ago, owning a 6-3 record heading into Week 11. With the playoffs within reach, L.A. is going to need everything they can get. However, an injury to the rookie receiver, Ladd McConkey, wasn't something they needed.

The rookie exited the "Sunday Night Football" game against the Cincinnati Bengals with what appeared to be an injury to his shoulder/collarbone area. He was taken into the blue medical tent for evaluation, but later returned.

McConkey returned to action in the second quarter. He was initially brought into the blue medical tent for evaluation and listed as questionable to return with a shoulder injury.

The smaller receiver is no stranger to injuries this season, seemingly always being dinged up by defenders. However, to his credit, McConkey is yet to miss a game in his rookie year. He has routinely toughed it out, meaning it'll be difficult keeping No. 15 on the sidelines the rest of the way.
