England vs Greece player ratings: Stunning Jude Bellingham drives victory
England kept their Uefa Nations League promotion hopes in their own hands with a 3-0 victory over Greece in Athens.
But who impressed in Lee Carsley’s penultimate game as England manager? Mike McGrath runs the rule over the Three Lions.
Jordan Pickford
Excellent save at the near post to deny Kostas Tsimikas and then when Fotis Ioannidis went through. He did well with his punches from crosses and was good with the ball at his feet as usual. Harsh booking for time wasting. 8/10

Kyle Walker
Captain after Harry Kane’s shock omission, the third time he has been named skipper. Out of position for a dangerous attack, then moved inside to centre-back in the second half. 6/10
Ezri Konsa
Took a knock early on and carried on but was taken off at half-time. Looked calm enough on the ball and got his head on balls forward. 7/10
Marc Guehi
Did well with his positioning which is the strong part of his game, while impressing meeting Greece’s attacks when they went direct looking for Vangelis Pavlidis. 7/10
Rico Lewis
Was less “inverted” than his role at Manchester City but showed passing range from full-back when sending Watkins through on goal. Moved over to right-back. 7/10
Conor Gallagher
Needless early booking when he prevented a quick free-kick and afterwards was playing within himself for fear of dismissal. His area of the pitch started to get overrun when Greece got back into match. 6/10
Curtis Jones
Another huge call to give his debut in must-win match – and he repaid faith with a back-heeled finish for his goal. Played a bit deeper than his Liverpool role but he did well, keeping the ball moving and holding possession. 8/10

Noni Madueke
Set up Watkins’ goal in exciting start to the match for the Chelsea forward who had the beating of his full-back and was a huge threat for England. Two assists in four England caps. 8/10
Jude Bellingham
Stunning run and shot for second goal after excellent pass in build-up for first. Targeted by fans with a green laser but it did not put him off as he drove forward from midfield. Also hit post with a header. 9/10
2-0 to England! 🏴

Anthony Gordon
Had the beating of Lazaros Rota from the early stages after taking him on in the first minutes and was a good attacking outlet for England. 7/10
Ollie Watkins
His goal came after 6min 15sec, a crisp side-foot finish from a cut-back. It justified his shock inclusion ahead of Kane. Got behind Greece defence again but ball took a bobble on an awful pitch. 8/10
That's why Ollie Watkins is in the team! ⚽️#ITVFootball | #NationsLeague | @AVFCOfficial | @England pic.twitter.com/GtJgbPHpnz
