England fans double down on booing Southgate and team after Euro 2024 draw
England fans in Cologne have doubled down on booing Gareth Southgate and the team after another poor performance at Euro 2024.
The Three Lions have won Group C but struggled over the line with a 0-0 draw against Slovenia on Tuesday night (25 June).
Some supporters made their feelings clear at full-time, booing as the players left the pitch, and a number of empty cups were also thrown at Southgate.
On the morning after the match, three fans still in Cologne shared their thoughts on what unfolded at the final whistle.
While they agreed that the throwing of cups - by a minority of supporters - was unnecessary, they defended the jeers.
