Alphonso Davies' agent, Nedal Huoseh, has kept the door open for a future transfer to Manchester United by denying claims the Bayern Munich star has an agreement to join Real Madrid.

Davies has been linked with a switch away from the Allianz Arena recently having been at the club since 2018. He has won five Bundesliga title medals, one Champions League, one UEFA Super Cup, one FIFA Club World Cup and two DFB-Pokal crowns.

The Canada international's current deal in Munich expires next summer and talks over a potential extension have long-since stalled. From January, he will be free to negotiate with clubs outside of Germany with Real Madrid the heavy favourites to land him.

However, United are also said to be keen on his services due to their ongoing issues at left-back. Luke Shaw hasn't appeared for the club since February, while Tyrell Malacia has been out for almost 18 months.

Ruben Amorim's appointment as head coach means Davies could very much be viewed as the perfect candidate to play in the Portuguese's 3-4-3 trusted formation. And according to Davies' agent, meanwhile, there is no agreement in place for the wing-back just yet, either, despite ongoing links to the Santiago Bernabeu and Spain's champions.

"Although the player has many options, we have not reached an agreement with any club," he said, as reported by Mundo Deportivo, via Football Espana. "Any information that suggests otherwise is incorrect."

Despite Huoseh's words being pleasant reading for United, and Amorim, the prospect of signing a new deal at Bayern Munich isn't out of the window either. "A new contract with Bayern could also be an option," he added.
