'Strictly Come Dancing' will celebrate 20 iconic years by introducing a new Icons Week next month.

The BBC Latin and ballroom show is known for going all out for its special themed weeks, such as Movie Week, which aired last time out, Blackpool Week and Musicals Week, and now Icons Week will take place on Saturday November 2nd.

It will see the remaining celebrities and their pro partners take to the dance floor to honour music icons.

In Icons Week, the pairings will dance to songs from their favourite music heroes, and the dances and songs, as well as the icons, are to be revealed in due course.

As well as the celebrities and their pros getting into the spirit, on the Sunday night results show, which will air on November 3, the professional dancers will perform a Beyoncé medley.

Pro dancer Johannes Radebe will channel his inner Sasha Fierce as the protagonist in the routine.

The BBC has told fans to "expect bejewelled cowboy hats, power ballad moves and sparkling sass".

Toyah Willcox became the second celebrity to be voted off 'Strictly', after she and her pro partner Neil Jones lost out in the Movie Week dance-off.

Olympian Tom Dean was the first star of the series to be voted off.

But one star who may not make it to Icons Week, or even this weekend, is Nick Knowles.

The 'DIY SOS' host has been plagued by injuries in the early weeks of the show, including a knee issue he picked up in rehearsals last week.

That meant he couldn't compete in Movie Week, and it's still unclear whether he will be able to take part in this Saturday's show (12.10.24).
