Sky Cinema and NOW are delivering a balance of the brand new and the best of the classics with their movie offering this month, bringing the entire Jurassic Park franchise to the service ahead of the arrival of Jurassic World: Dominion — reuniting the original cast — next summer.
On the original front, Robert De Niro's comedy phase continues with The Comeback Trail and there's an intriguing psychological thriller in the shape of Kindred. When it comes to telly, Liverpool Narcos provides a compelling look at crime in the 1980s and David Schwimmer returns — fresh from the Friends reunion — for another series of NSA sitcom Intelligence.

New movies on Sky Cinema and NOW in June
Wig (1 June)
The two-decade history of the Wigstock festival — prior to its 2018 revival — has a huge mark on the LGBT+ community in New York City. This documentary from filmmaker Chris Moukarbel explores that history, with input from some of the most prominent names in American drag culture, including Lady Bunny, who masterminded the event's return. Through the prism of this festival, the film is able to discuss the rise of drag from a fringe art form to a huge part of mainstream culture.
The Return: Life After ISIS (15 June)
Shamima Begum and Hoda Muthana became huge news personalities on opposite sides of the Atlantic, when they each made the decision to leave their home countries in order to join ISIS fighters in Syria. This documentary explores the stories behind the more than 60,000 women who became "ISIS brides", with many of the women stepping forward to talk about their experiences in their own words.
The Comeback Trail (19 June)
The plot of The Comeback Trail, directed by Midnight Run screenwriter George Gallo, is a strange one. Robert De Niro plays a grindhouse movie producer who is in debt to the mob and decides to pay off that debt by killing off the leading man in a stunt on his next set and cashing in on the insurance money. He hires a washed-up star played by Tommy Lee Jones, but he proves to be a better survivor than De Niro's character expects him to be.
Kindred (25 June)
Fresh from her appearance in the Education episode of Small Axe, Tamara Lawrance leads this intriguing psychological thriller. After the death of her boyfriend during her pregnancy, she wakes up in his family home in the care of his mother and step-brother (Fiona Shaw and Jack Lowden). Initially, it seems like they just want to care for her but, as Charlotte becomes more lucid, she begins to realise they might have more sinister plans for her and her unborn child.

Liverpool Narcos (3 June)
A combination of the popular sub-genre of drug war thrillers and the documentary wave of true crime tales, this series traces the real-life story of how Liverpool became the focal point for a boom in narcotics in 1980s Britain. Featuring interviews with some of the key figures within the underworld at that time, this series paints a picture of how the money was made and the impact it has had since.
The Best of the Download Festival (5/6 June)
Exactly what it says on the tin. This collection showcases the best moments from the last decade of Britain's most popular rock and heavy metal festival, held annually at Donington Park in Leicestershire.
Intelligence S2 (8 June)
Friends actor David Schwimmer and creator/star Nick Mohammed are back in the corridors of power for the second season of this sitcom. This time around, Schwimmer's NSA agent Jerry Bernstein finds himself in the thick of a huge emergency when the Russians get hold of a powerful cyber-weapon which he had a part in creating.
Noel Gallagher: Out of the Now (10 June)
An intimate concert from the former Oasis singer, spanning his career as one half of the most dysfunctional sibling act in British music history as well as his later work as the frontman of the High Flying Birds.
Dodo (14 June)
Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson narrates this 20-episode animated series, focusing on an 11-year-old boy as he navigates the struggles and excitement of his first year of secondary school. Derry Girls star Dylan Llewellyn, Sex Education's Connor Swindells and comedian Mark Watson are among the voice cast.
Impossible Animals with Patrick Aryee (20 June)
Biologist and presenter Patrick Aryee explores some of the most inhospitable environments on Earth, along with the most remarkable creatures who are able to live there. Across three episodes — rainforests, deserts and coasts — Aryee takes a look at the unique and fascinating lives of animals including Komodo dragons and great white sharks.
Draw with Will (21 June)
With the summer holidays on the way, parents will be on the hunt for activities to do with their kids. Comic book artist Will Sliney (Spider-Man 2099) fronts this series for Sky, in which he teaches his audience how to draw some of their favourite characters.
Betty S2 (weekly from 22 June)
A spin-off the acclaimed indie movie Skate Kitchen from 2018, this series features most of the film's cast and is set within the skateboarding community of New York City. It focuses on an all-girl group of skateboarders trying to stand out within the male-dominated world.
Terry Venables: If I Can Dream (24 June)
After 15 years in senior football, Terry Venables became one of the sport's top managers during the final quarter of the 20th century — including a spell at the helm of the England national team from 1994 until 1996. This documentary of course focuses on all of that stuff, but also explores his colourful career off the pitch. He has been a hotelier, the owner of a tailoring business, a novelist and even a singer — including the 2010 Elvis Presley cover which gives the documentary its title.
The South Bank Show (24 June)
This landmark culture series returns, with presenter Melvyn Bragg sitting down to chat to some of the most influential and important figures in the arts.
