Paddington and Paddington 2 have been added back onto Netflix ahead of the third movie's release in cinemas next week.

The beloved franchise's first two instalments were taken off the streaming service in the UK and Ireland last month.

However, the films have now been re-added, meaning fans can rewatch them before the third movie, Paddington in Peru, hits the big screen on November 8.

Paddington in Peru will see the beloved bear travel back to Peru with the Brown family to visit his Aunt Lucy at the Home for Retired Bears.

However, when Aunt Lucy is nowhere to be found, the group head on an adventure through the forest to find her.

As well as returning regulars such as Ben Whishaw and Hugh Bonneville, the third film will also introduce Olivia Colman, Antonio Banderas and Carla Tous to the cast, while Emily Mortimer takes over the role of Mrs Brown from Sally Hawkins.

Mortimer recently addressed taking over the role after initially being suggested for it by Bonneville, saying it "it was so flattering".

"It was a nerve-racking proposition in lots of ways, because it was stepping into this world and character and everything," she said. "It felt like a big responsibility. But on the other hand, to say no – not just to Hugh, but to Paddington – would be so churlish. It's thrilling. An honour.

"You can't say no to Paddington. If he turned malevolent, he could really do some damage. He's a leader of men. You can't turn him down."

Meanwhile, it's already been confirmed that a fourth Paddington movie is in development for the 70th anniversary of the character.

Paddington in Peru is released in UK cinemas on November 8 and in US cinemas on January 17, 2025.
