Looks like someone has been up in the loft.

Clint Eastwood was snapped over the weekend helping the city of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, celebrate its upcoming centenary.

And what’s that he’s wearing? It was only his character ‘the man with no name’s iconic poncho from Sergio Leone’s classic spaghetti westerns, the ‘Dollars’ trilogy.

He completed the wild west look with blue jeans, a pair of cowboy boots and a pair of spurs.

A longtime resident of the city, Clint served for two years as the mayor from 1986 to 1988, though he now lives in Sun Valley, Idaho.

Among his achievements while in the non-partisan office, he supported small business interests, and advocated environmental protection, as well as constructing a library annex and beach walkways.

Only last month, Eastwood’s son Scott emulated his dad’s classic look for Seth Rogen’s Hilarity For Charity event in Los Angeles.

Seems he wasn’t allowed to borrow the actual poncho, however.

Probably very wise. Might be worth a few quid.
