Here are the villains Robert Pattinson’s Batman will reportedly face
Batman news has been coming in thick and fast over the last 24 hours.
Movie fans have spent the last day coming to terms with the fact that Robert Pattinson, or maybe Nicholas Hoult, will probably be playing the Caped Crusader in Matt Reeves’ upcoming new take on the superhero, and now the villains in the film have also allegedly been revealed, too.
The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision is reporting that Pattinson will go up against the Penguin and Catwoman in the latest incarnation of Batman.

While Pattinson is believed to be on the cusp of signing up for the role as Bruce Wayne/Batman, there are no rumours over who might portray the two villains. Although Josh Gad’s name is seemingly never too far from any discussions about the Penguin.
If the presence of the villains proves to be true then it won’t be the first time that both the Penguin and Catwoman have starred in the same Batman movie together.
They did just that in 1992’s Batman Returns, which was directed by Tim Burton, and saw Danny DeVito and Michelle Pfeiffer play the respective roles. Anne Hathaway played Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, while the Penguin was deemed surplus to requirements by Christopher Nolan.

Regarding his vision for The Batman, Reeves previously told The Hollywood Reporter, “It's very much a point of view-driven, noir Batman tale. It's told very squarely on his shoulders, and I hope it's going to be a story that will be thrilling but also emotional…it's going to allow his character to have an arc so that he can go through a transformation.”
We’ll find out exactly what that means when The Batman is released on June 25, 2021.
