The week's new releases are dominated by Sky, NOW and Prime Video, as the streamers have released thought-provoking documentaries and gripping dramas for their subscribers.

David Holmes: The Boy Who Lives | Sky and NOW (pick of the week)
Prepare to see a different side of the Harry Potter film franchise in this touching documentary about stuntman David Holmes, who was Daniel Radcliffe's stunt double until an accident during pre-production for The Deathly Hallows left him paralysed from the chest down.

Prepare for Christmas with an altogether different film, a dark and gritty action thriller that stars Stranger Things actor David Harbour as Santa.
In it, Santa discovers mercenaries have taken a family hostage on Christmas Eve, and he decides to get vengeance on them and save the family from their clutches.

Toni Collette stars as a woman who finds herself becoming the head of a mafia empire following the death of her grandfather in Italy.
Ronnie O'Sullivan: The Edge of Everything | Prime Video
Another interesting documentary available to stream this week is about snooker player Ronnie O'Sullivan titled The Edge of Everything, which examines the rise of one of the sport's greatest players.
The best films to watch on TV this weekend
Not everyone has a streaming subscription, of course, and there are plenty of movies that are being screened on terrestrial TV over the weekend that people can enjoy.
There are several great films being screened, on Saturday the highlights include Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the sixth film in the franchise, as well as the most recent Star Trek movie: Star Trek Beyond.
On Sunday, ITV2 will be screening Daniel Craig's final film in the role of James Bond, No Time To Die, at 8pm, while for those looking for a family favourite they can catch Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit at 6.15pm.
