Zach Edey is Purdue basketball all-time rebounds leader, becomes No. 3 career scorer

Zach Edey rewrote one part of the Purdue basketball record book Sunday, and he continued his trek in another chapter.

Edey's sixth rebound Sunday against Ohio State gave him 1,149 in his career, passing Joe Barry Carroll for the most in program history. Carroll played from 1976-80.

He finished with 22 points and 13 rebounds in Purdue's 73-69 loss, so he stands at 1,156 rebounds and 2,137 points, allowing him to pass E'Twaun Moore (2,136 from (2007-11) for third on Purdue's career list.

The 7-4 senior stands behind only Rick Mount (2,323 from 1967-70) and Carroll (2,175) in Purdue career scoring.
