Former WWE champion Rich Swann arrested for alleged domestic violence
Former WWE cruiserweight champion Rich Swann was arrested and is being held without bail by Gainesville, Florida, police for an alleged domestic violence incident on Saturday night.
The 26-year-old is charged with battery and false imprisonment after police say an argument broke out between Swann and his wife, Vannarah Riggs, also a wrestler who goes by the name Su Yung.
Swann is due to appear in court Monday. WWE officials released a statement announcing the indefinite suspension of Swann and reiterated its zero-tolerance policy on domestic violence.

The couple reportedly began arguing after a performance by Riggs earlier that evening, which witnesses say escalated to Swann using a headlock and Riggs later jumping out of a slow-moving car.
Swann and Riggs have been in a relationship for five years, having married nine months ago.
