Who will win WNBA Rookie of the Year? Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese are top 2 candidates

The 2024 WNBA season has already been historic due to charter flights, record attendance and more, but now the Rookie of the Year race may come down to the wire.

Caitlin Clark, the star No. 1 overall pick for the Indiana Fever, has been a likely candidate from the beginning. Her impact off the court was felt immediately.

In June, a game pitting the Fever against the Chicago Sky broke records with 2.25 million average viewers on CBS. Another major reason the game was so well watched was Angel Reese, the No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 draft.

The rookie class has a number of standouts, but it seems that Clark and Reese -- who have brought their college rivalry to the WNBA -- will be the top two contenders for the award at the end of the season.
