The, the, the other game to kind of think about this weekend that no one's really talking about, I haven't even seen, they weren't even talking about it on TV.

That today I was watching is the Pitt, uh, SMU game and how big that game is for the AC C, uh, you know, like is Pitt legitimately a great team that's undefeated or is their season a house of cards?

Like we don't know yet.

And now there's no reason for what I've seen to believe, Pitt's not legit, but so is SMU SMU seven and 15 straight wins.

Uh, their three point loss to BYU doesn't look so bad anymore.

Uh, when, when you look at their, when you look at how the season's played out.

So, uh, the winner of this game is right in there to in contention to go to Charlotte for the AC C title.

And I, I think this game is gonna be one that comes down to the final possession and, and is gonna have a big impact on these kind of two teams that have been quietly having great seasons.

I think it's really difficult to cosplay as a really good team through nine weeks.

Like, I don't think that you can have a nine week sample size and be seven and zero undefeated like Pitt is and have that all.

Just be like a mirage and the fallacy.

So this is a quiet matchup that could have massive implications for the college football playoff because we're now looking at four AC C teams that are either undefeated or have one loss.

And if Pitt takes down SMU, well, now they're eight.

No.

And now we're legitimately talking about potentially three AC C teams in the playoff.

And we keep talking about Clemson and Miami and the AC C championship game, Clemson, Miami, Clemson, Miami, and that's a fair assumption.

But if Pitt's able to get past SMU now we need to start talking about this team differently.

The one thing that gives me pause is Eli Holstein Pitt, starting quarterback is questionable for this game.

He landed awkwardly in that matchup last week against Syracuse.

He went down kind of funky.

So up in the air, if he's going to be able to play or not, if he's not, then we're talking about a totally different fit team.

But what they've been able to do this season quietly has been impressive fits.

Yeah.

No, there's no doubt about it.

And you're right, like, it's funny because we went through this whole exercise tonight to rank teams and I'm not sitting here saying, wow, we really sold, sold the AC c short, but we might have figured out that we did by the time this all plays out.
