Why George Pickens will thrive against the Browns

George Pickens has been a different player with Russell Wilson at quarterback.

There has been volume, there has been targets.

There are touchdowns.

It's been tremendous.

Last week, however, it was a little bit of a letdown, a little bit underwhelming.

We were expecting a stronger performance in what seemed to be a very favorable matchup against Baltimore struggling secondary.

That said, maybe it wasn't the ideal matchup for George Pickens in particular in terms of his usage, but he still delivered a pretty solid outing.

He is the clear wide receiver one in Pittsburgh with literally no competition.

This week he's got another great opportunity against a Cleveland defense that has struggled against big play receivers.

Recently, most obviously players like Marquez Valdez Scantling had big game, Terry McLaurin also had a big game as well, and AJ Brown, big play receivers that all thrived against that secondary.

Pickens posted 8 receptions on 12 targets for 89 yards last week.

I actually expect very similar numbers this week, but adding in a touchdown to push him into another top 10 finish.
