Taysom Hill rose up the list of New Orleans Saints all-time leading scorers with his statement performance in the 35-14 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Hill broke his tie with Pierre Thomas for the ninth-most touchdowns scored in team history, moving up to ninth overall with 44 touchdowns combined between his efforts as a runner, receiver and returner. He now sits directly behind Eric Martin.
Hill came into the game with 10 receptions on 14 targets for 100 yards, also totaling 130 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries. But he built upon that hugely, finishing Sunday's outing with seven carries for 138 yards and three touchdowns.
He was also a force through the air, reeling in eight receptions for 50 yards, helping the Saints to a victory that was much more lopsided than anyone originally predicted it would be.
