The OU softball team is unanimously No. 1 in the 2024 D1Softball preseason rankings, which released Tuesday.

The OSU softball team also cracked the list. It ranks No. 12.

OU went 61-1 (18-0 Big 12) last season and won a third straight national championship. It'll enter the 2024 season on a 53-game winning streak that's the longest in Division I softball history.

OU begins its season with the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It'll face Utah Valley and Duke on Feb. 8 at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.

OSU went 47-16 (10-8 Big 12) last season and reached the Women's College World Series. It ultimately got eliminated with a 3-1 loss to Tennessee.

OSU begins its 2024 campaign with a road game against California State Northridge at 2 p.m. on Feb. 8.
