Losers of two straight heading onto a game against Kentucky on Tuesday (8 p.m., ESPN), the Rebels need something to go their way soon as they look to crack the March Madness field in their first season under coach Chris Beard.
Here's how the projections stand.

ESPN, CBS NCAA bracket predictions for Ole Miss in March Madness
The Rebels, according to ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi, are among the last four teams in the field as of Tuesday morning. Under his projection, Ole Miss would match up with New Mexico in a play-in game, with the winner advancing to take on FAU in Omaha in the first round.
Jerry Palm of CBS has been a bigger fan of the Rebels for most of the season, and that continues here. He's got Ole Miss as a No. 10 seed, avoiding the First Four. A matchup with No. 7 Butler in Memphis awaits Ole Miss in his projection.
