Where Alabama football ranks in US LBM Coaches Poll for Week 2
Alabama football enters Week 2 of the college football season ranked as the No. 4 in the country per the US LBM coaches poll that was released on Tuesday.
The Crimson Tide jumped up one spot in the rankings, being ranked No. 5 in the preseason poll. The move comes after a dominant 63-0 season-opening win over Western Kentucky last week where the Crimson Tide's offense worked for 600 total yards. It was Kalen DeBoer's debut win as Alabama's head football coach. The Crimson Tide now turns its attention to hosting South Florida on Saturday.
There are eight SEC teams in the poll, with Georgia remaining No. 1 after its dominating win over Clemson. Texas is the only other SEC team ranking above Alabama at No. 3. Ole Miss is right behind Alabama in the No. 5 spot followed by Missouri (No. 10), Tennessee (No. 12), Oklahoma (No. 13) and LSU (No. 19).
