The Golden State Warriors core has incredible unity. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green have spent their entire careers in the Bay Area. They root for each other’s success as much as they do for the franchise’s success. Against the Sacramento Kings on Oct. 27, Thompson hit a big three, leading Curry and assistant coach Kenny Atkinson to celebrate on the sidelines.

A video capturing their celebration has since surfaced online, with Warriors fans loving the energy and support coming from the bench. Golden State won their game against the Kings, with Thompson scoring 18 points and dishing out 4 rebounds. 

Thompson is in the final year of his contract and will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the current season. Currently, there has been no reported progress on any discussions for an extension, although there is still plenty of time to get a deal done.
