It is hardly breaking news to say Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett is an elite route runner. Anyone who has been watching him since his debut all the way back in 2015 (man, that feels like a lifetime ago at this point!) has known this.

Still, when you watch something every week for years on end, you can almost become a little numb to it. The excellent becomes so common place it borderline becomes expected, and therefore the standard. But when you truly take a step back and really examine it, you are reminded about why it is truly excellent.

Such is the case for Tyler Lockett and his route running. The Seahawks' official Twitter account shared a highlight reel, and it is more than worth a quick watch.

Lockett is unquestionably the second best receiver in Seattle's franchise history. He trails only the legendary Steve Largent in yards, receptions and touchdowns. Now, he has another year in the Emerald City to pad some stats and further cement his status among the Seahawks elite.
