Watch: Ronda Rousey got testy when Mike Golic asked her about possible MMA return
Ronda Rousey will make her wrestling debut at WWE’s WrestleMania 34 next month, and while there are many indications she’s put her MMA days behind her, Rousey still hasn’t come out and definitively said she’s done with that sport.
And apparently, she’s tired of being asked. Or doesn’t like slightly-awkwardly-phrased questions about it. Or she doesn’t like Mike Golic. Based on this clip of Rousey’s interview on ESPN’s “Golic and Wingo” on Tuesday morning, it’s hard to tell.
But things got a little cringey.

Golic: Let’s go back and start when you knew from the MMA when you were done there. When you knew in your mind, “I’m not going to fight anymore?”
Rousey: I never said that.
Golic: Ah, so there is a possibility that you could go back, in time?
Rousey, looking confused: There’s a possibility that I could go back in time? That’s your question to me?
Golic: Go back in time, and fight. Go back in the octagon.
Rousey: I do not have the ability to go back in time, no.
Golic: Would you fight again?
Rousey: I don’t know.
Golic’s initial question wasn’t really bad. He stumbled over his words a bit, but he paused in there. If he’d said “Go back eventually, and fight” when Rousey questioned him, maybe she would have responded differently or gotten what he was trying to say, but man, that’s a tough 30 seconds to watch.
Kind of wishing I could time travel, back to the moment before this popped up in my timeline…
