Look: Nashville Predators goalie prospect Yaroslav Askarov makes stunning diving save
One way to describe some of Yaroslav Askarov's saves Thursday: Money.
With a capital M.
The Nashville Predators prospect was at it again when he robbed a former Predators forward of a goal and helped the Milwaukee Admirals win their 18th consecutive game, the second-longest streak in AHL history, behind the Norfolk Admirals' run of 28, set in 2011-12.

Oh, and the win was Askarov's franchise-record 14th in a row. The Admirals' other goalie, Troy Grosenick, has won 13 in a row.
One of Askarov's 27 saves that stood out was made against former Predators forward Rocco Grimaldi four minutes into the second period of the Admirals' 4-0 road victory against the Chicago Wolves.
The 21-year-old Askarov, the 11th overall pick by the Predators in the 2020 NHL Draft, dived to his right just in time to get his glove in the puck's way. The puck then fell to the ice, where he covered it.
That was a period after he strayed far in front of the net for a poke check on the Wolves' Ryan Wagner, then retreated in time to make a diving stop on Wagner.

Also during the game Thursday, former Predators forward Cody Hodgson, who retired from hockey in 2016 after he was diagnosed with malignant hyperthermia, scored his first professional point in eight years for the Admirals.
Hodgson had 64 goals and 78 assists in 328 NHL games, including 39 with the Predators in 2015-16.
