Watch: Memphis Grizzlies' Vince Williams Jr. sinks 3-pointer in NBA's Rising Stars game
The Memphis Grizzlies initially were shut out of NBA All-Star Weekend, but a recent injury to New Orleans Pelicans forward Dyson Daniels opened the door for Vince Williams Jr.
Williams represented the Grizzlies for "Team Tamika" in the NBA Rising Stars game Friday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana. The Grizzlies wing knocked down a smooth 3-pointer in transition for his lone made field goal.
Four teams played in two semifinal matchups with a target score of 40 points. Team Tamika lost 40-35 to Team Jalen in the semifinals.

Recent Grizzlies players to participate in the Rising Stars game include Kenneth Lofton Jr., Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr.
In the game's relaxed atmosphere, Williams mostly went through the motions and enjoyed the All-Star experience.
Now he can get some rest. The Rising Stars event was his third game in as many days. He flew to Indiana after the Grizzlies' 113-110 win against the Milwaukee Bucks Thursday night, then was up Friday morning for All-Star media availability and practice before the game.
The Grizzlies will return to practice Feb. 22 before playing at home against the Los Angeles Clippers the next day (7 p.m. CT, Bally Sports Southeast).
