Watch LSU basketball's Tyrell Ward hit buzzer-beater to complete comeback, upset Kentucky
With less than a second left on Wednesday night, LSU basketball needed a miracle.
Trailing the Kentucky Wildcats by one point, Jordan Wright's attempt at a game-winner was blocked. However, Wright kept the ball alive, lobbing it towards the center of the paint. Tyrell Ward was the only Tiger who could've made a play before the clock expired, and he did. Ward's off-balance shot was good, completing the LSU upset, 75-74.

Ward had arguably the best performance of his career against Kentucky. The sophomore forward was named a starter for the second straight game and scored a team-high 17 points on 50% shooting, including 75% from three. Wednesday was also the second consecutive game in which Ward set a new career high in points scored, scoring 16 against South Carolina on Saturday and one-upping that on his buzzer-beater four days later.
