Watch: Grizzlies' GG Jackson starstruck hearing Shaq during 'Inside the NBA' interview
GG Jackson had a breakout performance in a nationally televised game on Monday night.
And that meant he got to talk to the "Inside the NBA" crew after the Memphis Grizzlies' 116-107 win over the Golden State Warriors. Ernie Johnson started the interview, and the 19-year-old Jackson — the youngest player in the NBA — was starstruck.
"It's a dream come true," he said. "It's an honor to get to talk to all of y'all."
When Shaquille O'Neal started talking, Jackson's mouth immediately opened wide as he realized who he was talking to.
"It's an honor to get to hear your voice," Jackson said. "Appreciate you."

Jackson had 23 points and six rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench in the win. The second-round pick spent time with the Memphis Hustle earlier this season but has played a significant role in the Grizzlies' last two games. That's mostly because of the Grizzlies' injury crisis, but Jackson has put together back-to-back 20-point performances in those games and figures to play a significant role in the Grizzlies' rotation moving forward.
Led by Jackson and Vince Williams Jr., the Grizzlies snapped a two-game losing skid despite being without Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Marcus Smart, Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, Derrick Rose and Jake LaRavia.
And Jackson will have another chance for a TNT interview on Thursday, when the Grizzlies travel to Minnesota for another nationally televised game against the Timberwolves.
