Here's a look at a day of practice at New Orleans Saints training camp from a unique perspective -- right guard Cesar Ruiz. He wore a microphone into a  recent practice session to share what a day of summer practice looks like from his point of view.

It's a fun video, and a good look at life for a big man in the NFL. When he's not taking on rushers with a head full of steam, he's chatting with Pro Bowl  center Erik McCoy about how eager he is to get out of the heat and return home to New Jersey so he can enjoy wearing his Canadian goose down coat. The pair spotted a flying V of geese flying over the practice field between drills.

"What's the difference between Canadian geese and a regular geese? Since you're a bird watcher?" McCoy asked.

It's clear the pair have good chemistry. McCoy turned to face Ruiz when the two were waiting for their turn in pass blocking drills, to which Ruiz said slowly, through comically gritted teeth: "Get out of my face."

McCoy leaned in and patted him on the chest, replying "Young bull."

Ruiz stepped back. "I mean, my fault, old head. Old man now." Then they shared a laugh. McCoy turns 27 later in August, making him two years' Ruiz's senior.

The Saints are hoping a new offense and a blocking scheme focused on zone philosophies -- plus new position coaches -- can help Ruiz find the consistency that has eluded him to this point in his career. He founds his footing the year before last but fell back into some bad habits, and now it's on Klint Kubiak, John Benton, Jahri Evans and the other coaches to help him play his best football. He has a good mentor next to him snapping the ball, too.
