The Indiana Fever (9-14) are coming off a disappointing loss to the Washington Mystics on Wednesday but hope to rebound on Friday against the Phoenix Mercury (12-10) at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The Fever have three WNBA All-Stars: Kelsey Mitchell (16.4 points per game), Caitlin Clark (16.7 points, 7.6 assists, 5.9 rebounds) and Aliyah Boston (13.2 points, 8.3 rebounds). NaLyssa Smith adds 11.5 points and 7.7 rebounds.
The Mercury are led by Kahleah Cooper, who averages 22.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Brittney Griner adds 19.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks. Diana Taurasi has scored 16.6 points and grabbed 4.7 rebounds. Cooper, Griner and Taurasi are all on the Olympics team.
Indiana previously beat Phoenix on June 30, 88-82.
