It's been almost a month, but the Indiana Fever resume action as they try to ensure their first WNBA playoff berth since 2016. First up, they host the Phoenix Mercury, who had three players on the United States team that won the gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The Fever (11-15) had three WNBA All-Stars: Caitlin Clark (17.1 points, league-leading 8.2 assists), Kelsey Mitchell (16.9 points) and Aliyah Boston (14.2 points, 8.7 rebounds). NaLyssa Smith adds 11.6 points and 7.7 rebounds.
The Mercury (14-12) resumed play with a Thursday night win over Chicago. Kahleah Copper (23.3 points, 4.5 rebounds), Brittney Griner (18.3 points, 6.4 rebounds) and Diana Taurasi (16.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 35.5% 3s) played for Team USA. Natasha Cloud adds 12.4 points and 7.2 assists.
